Getting started

Nobody would deny that Sydney is a wonderful city for bringing up kids.  It has spectacular beaches, zoos, museums and weather, but many of the best places are hidden away and not well advertised.  Sure we all know about Taronga Zoo, Manly Beach and the Botanical Gardens, but what about the wonders of Umina Beach with its large playground, or the Australiana Pioneer Village or Fagan Park.  I've only discovered many of these recently and the aim of this blog is to share these discoveries and to provide a place for comment and discussion.
